Overview
This series was born out of quiet—long drives, wind-swept silence, and soft light that never fully rises or fades.
I traveled alone across Iceland’s western coast, chasing a feeling more than a destination. Snow-covered roads, pale skies, vast open spaces. The kind of landscape that invites you to slow down, breathe deeper, and listen.
Each frame is a study in restraint. Low sun, long shadows, the quiet rhythm of nature untouched. I focused on the in-between moments: the way light spills across a frozen field, the stillness of a single figure at the edge of a fjord, the warmth of a cabin window glowing through dusk.
Northern Light is not about grandeur—it’s about subtlety. Stillness. The hush of winter. The solitude that makes you feel more connected than ever.
Shot on digital and 35mm film. Edited with cool tones, soft blues, and delicate grain to hold onto the mood of that faraway light.
