Overview

This project was all color, rhythm, and motion—an attempt to capture the living poetry of the souks.

Wandering through the medina felt like stepping into a dream of scent and sound: spices stacked in pyramids, lanterns glowing from shadowed stalls, the clink of tea glasses, the call of merchants echoing down narrow alleys.

I didn’t frame anything perfectly. That wasn’t the point. I let the chaos speak—blurred motion, layered textures, moments caught mid-gesture. Hands exchanging fruit. Fabric folding in wind. Eyes meeting for just a second, then gone.

Markets of Marrakech is a portrait of life in motion. It’s about getting lost on purpose. About embracing the noise, the beauty, the beautiful overwhelm.

Shot on digital + 35mm film. Edited with deep contrast, warm reds and ochres, and just enough grit to honor the texture of the city.
