The Quiet Morning

Before the city wakes. Before the rush, the noise, the lists. There’s a kind of silence that only lives in early morning—and this project was an attempt to hold onto it.

I arrived just after sunrise. The light was slow, golden, drifting through sheer curtains and across still surfaces. The subject moved through their home with no performance—making coffee, reading, existing.

We didn’t speak much. Just quiet steps, shutter clicks, and the subtle rhythm of breath and morning light.

The Quiet Morning is a meditation on stillness. On how beautiful the ordinary can be when we pause long enough to see it. Nothing was styled. Nothing posed. Just the truth of a day beginning.
